Cyclone Project: Fair Distribution of Moxie

Introduction

The Cyclone project is designed to create a fair system for distributing Moxie tokens within the Farcaster network. Currently, most Moxie tokens are allocated to developers and individuals with large follower counts, leaving ordinary users with a smaller share. Our goal is to ensure that all users, regardless of popularity, can fairly benefit from these rewards.

How It Works

Users in the Cyclone project will earn Moxie tokens by completing a series of daily tasks that are predefined. The amount of reward is determined based on each user’s SCS (Social Contribution Score).

For example:

• A user with an SCS of 0.3 who interacts with a frame assigned as a daily task will receive approximately 3 Moxie tokens.
• If the same user quotes a cast that we have introduced, they will also receive 3 Moxie tokens.

Ultimately, a user with an SCS of 0.3 can earn up to 120 Moxie tokens per day.

Daily Tasks

Daily tasks may include:

• Checking a frame.
• Leaving a comment.
• Quoting a cast.
• Following an account.
• Liking a cast.
• Watching a YouTube video.
• And other similar activities.

Ability to Purchase Interactions

Users in the Cyclone project can choose to use their Moxie rewards to purchase likes, requests, or other types of interactions from other users instead of withdrawing their Moxie. This feature allows users to enhance their social engagement and strengthen their presence on Farcaster.

Balance and Withdrawal

Each Moxie token is equivalent to 10 points, and a user's balance is displayed in points. Users can request to withdraw their balance daily, provided they have a minimum of 500 Moxie tokens.

Additionally, users who wait until the end of the project and do not withdraw will be able to withdraw up to 20% more than their balance on the project's final day.

Project Duration

The first season of the project will last for 45 days. During this period, daily tasks will be displayed to users, and they can choose to complete any of these tasks to earn their rewards.

Initial Setup

The initial setup of the Cyclone project will take approximately 30 days. During this time, the project's technical and operational infrastructure will be prepared to ensure a smooth launch and user onboarding.

Interaction with External Users

Users outside the project can pay to have their username added to the daily tasks. After reviewing, our team will include their account in the daily task list.

Goals and Enhancing User Engagement

This system aims to increase user interaction within the network over time, leading to improved SCS for participants.

Useful Frames

Frames included in the daily tasks will be practical, such as checking Degen status, OpenRank rating, and more.

Reward Distribution

Rewards will be distributed as follows:

• 70% of Moxie rewards will go directly to users.
• 10% will be allocated to the referral system for those who invite others to the project.
• 10% will be allocated to the project team.
• 10% will be reserved for launching the second season of the project.
